In 2019, the CIMD Group took a step forward by setting up the Business Innovation department, a cross-cutting working group dedicated to business innovation. This department brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts from several companies in the group, with an approach based on generating synergies, fostering transformative ideas and obtaining tangible results.

We strive to continually adapt to an ever-changing world, with the aim of providing a bespoke and targeted service to meet our clients’ needs.

Business Innovation, a cross-cutting department that offers services to all the Group companies and our institutional clients (B2B). It comprises several specialised divisions:

RegTech: We render transactional regulatory reporting services to our clients, covering aspects such as MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, Best Execution, RTS 27 and 28, among others.

CIS (CIMD Information Services): We provide reliable financial and energy market data to our institutional clients. The quality and reliability of our data is endorsed by upwards of 100 clients and market regulators.

imdi funds: We offer digital solutions for investment and private financial savings. Our proposal features private label services, digitisation of processes, online registrations, system parameterisation, flow development, risk matrix and much more.

Electronic Markets: This includes our electronic platforms for negotiation and dissemination of prices in trading rooms.

Pre-trading: We provide comprehensive support in measuring and managing our clients’ market, credit, counterparty, liquidity and operational risks. We also offer assistance in setting trading limits, onboarding processes, pre-classification and client verification (KYC), amongst other aspects.

 Post-trading: We provide support with the entire process of reconciliation and integration of information related to market trading.
